A 54-year-old man was admitted because of urinary retention. A hard mass was palpable in the lower abdomen. The patient died of general deterioration. Autopsy revealed gastric cancer which had been asymptomatic and metastatic tumor in the pelvis. There were also metastases to the lung and liver.
