Precision results on cosmic-ray electrons are presented in the energy range from 0.5 GeV to 1.4 TeV based on 28.1×106 electrons collected by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer on the International Space Station. In the entire energy range the electron and positron spectra have distinctly different magnitudes and energy dependences. The electron flux e...
The AMS-02 experiment is a cosmic rays observatory installed on the International Space Station for a long duration mission. The results from the first 7 years of data collection are presented and commented.
The $^3$He/$^4$He and $D/p$ flux ratios in cosmic rays (CR) are two of the most valuable tools for understanding the propagation of CR in the galaxy and constrain the models that describe it. In this work, two new preliminary measurements of $^3$He/$^4$He and $D/p$ flux ratios are presented, each obtained from the data of the AMS-02 experiment.
We discuss several novel astrophysical methods for elucidating the nature and the distribution of dark matter in the Universe. First, we argue that subhalos of the Milky Way's dark matter halo traveling through the disk will leave a characteristic imprint in the motion of nearby stars. These "stellar wakes" can be probed using precise astrometric d...
