In this paper, we present recent developments of jMax. Currently supported platformsare listed. The evolution of the jMax computation engine toward a multi-threaded architectureand the new scripting tools of jMax's graphical user interface are described. Musical applicationsare presented, together with considerations on Max's programming paradigm.
