AbstractEfficient methods have been developed for the oxidation of diphenylacetylene to 1,2-diphenyldiketone (benzyl) in DMSO both on commercially available heterogeneous carbon-containing palladium catalysts and on composite materials Pd-graphene and Pd-graphene oxide.

AbstractZnO2 nanoparticles (NPs) have been studied, which, due to their semiconducting and oxidizing properties, are promising for the development of new materials for optoelectronics, photocatalysis, sensorics, biomedicine, and theranostics. The synthesis of ZnO2 NPs in dispersed systems based on lipophilic surfactants has been tested. The possibi...

AbstractPhase equilibria at 25°C in the KNO3–Ca(NO3)2–H2O system were studied by the isothermal sections method. The phase diagram of the system was found to feature six phase fields, three monovariant lines, and two invariant points, the latter corresponding to a eutonic solution saturated with KNO3 and KNO3⋅Ca(NO3)2⋅3H2O and to a peritonic soluti...

AbstractThe analysis of stability constants of mononuclear, protonated, and binuclear copper(II) complexes with cryptand[2.2.2] and quantum-chemical calculations of the structure of cryptand[2.2.2] and its protonated forms and copper(II) complexes have been reported. It has been found that the formation of mononuclear copper(II) cryptate is associa...

AbstractThe formation of CoMoO4 anisotropic nanostructures has been studied with a combination of programmed co-precipitation of metal hydroxides and the hydrothermal method. The thermal behavior, phase composition, and microstructure features of the obtained nanopowder have been investigated. Using a set of physicochemical methods of analysis, it ...

AbstractThe tin vapor pressure, partial and integral thermodynamic functions of mixing and vaporization of Sn–Zn melts are calculated based on the zinc vapor pressure values determined by the boiling point method. The formation of alloys proceeds with heat absorption and an attendant increase in disorder relative to an ideal solution. The peak inte...

AbstractCobalt (II) tris-phenanthroline perchlorate and similar salts with polyiodide anions were synthesized and structurally characterized. The complex cations are packed in the crystals through numerous C–H···π and π···π contacts, while iodine-containing anions are isolated and interact with the π-system of aromatic ligands. Spontaneous oxidatio...

AbstractThe topology of phase diagrams of five-component systems with stoichiometric compounds in the subsolidus region was studied using graph theory. A set of four classification features for such diagrams was proposed. This set served as the basis for developing a classification of this type of phase diagram; an algorithm for their construction ...

AbstractThis work proposes a new method for the synthesis of N-borylated amino acids based on nucleophilic substitution reactions in the [B12H11IPh]– anion. Esters of glycine and L-phenylalanine were used as nucleophiles. The structure of the products has been determined by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and ESI mass spectrometry.
