A 31-year-old woman presented with a mass in her groin accompanied by intense pain during the menstrual period. A poorly circumscribed, elastic, hard mass was palpable in her right inguinal region. Magnetic resonance imaging showed that the mass had continuity with the inguinal course of the round ligament of the uterus. The mass lesion was well en...

We report a case of ureteral transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) first recognized because of mechanical ileus due to intestinal metastasis without definitive evidence of hydronephrosis or ureteral mass on plain computed tomography. We believe this to be the first case of ureteral TCC that was first recognized because of mechanical ileus due to small ...

Hibernoma is an uncommon, benign soft tissue tumor that arises in brown adipose tissue. The computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings of hibernomas are similar to those of well-differentiated liposarcoma or angiolipoma. We report the unique appearance of a rare thoracic wall hibernoma, which appeared as a dumbbell-shape...

Our results suggest that the deposition of radioaerosol in the hilar region affects the clearance rate of (99m)Tc-DTPA from the alveoli in damaged lungs. The hilar region should be excluded from ROIs when alveolar epithelial permeability is evaluated.

Except for locoregional failure, isolated brain failure was the most common initial failure pattern of stage III NSCLCs treated with radical CCRT. Isolated brain failure as the initial failure occurred even after 3 years. Isolated brain failure as the initial failure occurred more frequently in T4 cases than in T1-3 cases.
