The reduced density matrix is variationally optimized for the two-dimensional Hubbard model. Exploiting all symmetries present in the system, we have been able to study 6 × 6 lattices at various fillings and different values for the on-site repulsion, using the highly accurate but computationally expensive three-index conditions. To reduce the comp...

We study the six-field model of fluids (ET6) derived from extended thermodynamics. The six fields are the mass density, the velocity, the temperature, and the dynamic pressure (nonequilibrium pressure). We present the basic system of field equations of ET6. And we elucidate its characteristic features through the studies of the singular limit from ...

The complex scalar field models which possess, in the spectra of solutions, the vortices with cylindrical symmetry are considered. The rigorous construction of the curved, constant width, vortices is presented. In the framework of the used formalism an example of the curved vortex of constant width is discussed in detail.

•We study the zero modes of the Faddeev–Popov operator in the maximal Abelian gauge.•For d=2 we obtain solutions with finite action but not finite Hilbert norm.•For d=3,4 we obtain solutions with finite action and finite Hilbert norm.•These results can be compared with those previously obtained in the Landau gauge.

We discuss consequences of the models of “tensorial pomeron” and “vectorial pomeron” for exclusive diffractive production of scalar and pseudoscalar mesons in proton–proton collisions. Diffractive production of f0(980), f0(1370), f0(1500), η, and η′(958) mesons is discussed. Different pomeron–pomeron–meson tensorial coupling structures are possible...
