Abstract
Varidase Buccal (VB) was administered to 30 urological patients subjected to general anesthesia. Their ages ranged from 3 to 74. The VB administration was instituted right after arousal from anesthesia. Comparative studies were made with controls in respect to dyspnea, difficulty in expectoration, etc. after the arousal. Though the number of cases is small to give a definite conclusion, yet, as far as the effectiveness in these cases are concerned, VB has been found excellent against the complaints given above. Our experience are presented in this paper.
