Abstract

AbstractThe concepts of classification of water-cut solid mineral deposits are discussed. Most classifications are based on hydrogeology, water inflows and water abundance of rock mass. Grouping of mineral deposits without regard to the mining technology disables the integrated evaluation of the potential and attractiveness of mineral resources. The authors propose to classify water-cut solid mineral deposits by grouping the latter with regard to the water flow impact neutralization method and mining technology in open pits.
