Abstract

By using a parity breaking external field H in the Wilson fermion action, we establish the existence of a parity breaking phase at K > K c in the limit H → 0. We also show that this phase disappears in the deconfining phase and discuss a chiral property of Wilson fermions in the deconfining phase
