Abstract

Essential Duties: Coordinates with the Office of DKU Programs at Duke University for academic programs, and the office of Vice Provost for research at Duke for research activities at DKU that Duke faculty are engaged in. Provides support for the joint Wuhan-Duke research institute at DKU, and assist the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs in DKU faculty recruitment. *Assist the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs in developing and implementing policies for academic programs. Represents Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs for academic affairs in certain meetings and functions with universities/institutions in and outside of China to promote collaborations and corporations. *High school visits, and hosting visits by high school students, teachers, and parents will be an important responsibility of the position to target outstanding high school students for recruitment. <p> Qualification: •The candidate needs to have a Ph.D. degree •The candidate need to have working experience in the setting of a research university for at least 5 years or more post Ph.D. •Being bilingual in both Chinese and English will be a major plus.<p> For further information, and to apply, please see the url below.
