Abstract : In this thesis I seek to investigate continuities, discontinuities and innovations in processes of construction of persons (mahsã), clans (mahsa kurari) and knowledge (mahsise), having as a backdrop the transformations of the house, through the conduction of a contemporary ethnography among the Tukano of Hausirõ and Ñahuri porã clans, dwellers of the middle section of the Tiquié river, a tributary of Uaupés, TI (Indigenous Land) Alto Rio Negro, Northwest Amazon. The thesis is divided into three parts, through which I attempt to analyze: (1) the place of knowledge in the strategies of (re)production of these clans throughout history; (2) how processes of production and transmission of knowledge in marked stages of the person's life cycle occur nowadays;(3) the experiments of construction, transmission and circulation of the indigenous own knowledge (mahsise) in dialogue with whites modes of knowledge (buese). From the analogies found in these three analyzed spheres, I demonstrate how the composition of pairs and the establishment of relations of partnership and alliance, forgetfulness, abandonment, experimentation, testing and slowdowns are important features of contemporary modes of construction of people, clans updates, production and tranmission of knowledge.
