Abstract

AbstractKey scientific and technological principles of fabrication of vacuum-tight thin beryllium foils for X-ray equipment with high mechanical properties have been reported. The important role of prismatic slip activation to ensure high strength and plastic properties of beryllium foils has been emphasized. The developed production technologies and the final values of the mechanical properties of foils are presented.
