Abstract
Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and User Experience (UX) design play a vi-tal role in making digital interactions intuitive and effective. This report explorescurrent HMI practices, focusing on the gap between existing design standards anduser expectations. The investigation is crucial as it highlights the need for technol-ogy that is not only functional but also user-friendly and engaging. To address this,we conducted a comprehensive assessment of modern HMI designs using systematicobservations, user interaction data, and structured interviews. Our results identifycritical areas for improvement and propose enhancements leveraging advanced AIand machine learning technologies. These recommendations aim to enhance the us-ability and efficiency of HMI systems, ultimately improving user satisfaction andsetting new benchmarks for UX design.
