Abstract

the survival rate of 5 years was 35% (6/17), three years' was 56% (18/32), one year's was 77.8 (35/45). We considered that the patients with tumors of trachea or bronchi had significant symptom-irritated cough with bloody sputum. Earlier diagnosis, earlier surgical treatment could get a better therapeutic result. Segmental resections of trachea and sleeve resections of bronchi with lobectomy extended the indications for treating pulmonary neoplasm, and saved the normal lung tissues and functions as more as possible, provided some operative chances for elder patients and those cases with insufficient pulmonary functions. This procedure improved the patients's life quality and left the possibility of reoperation.
