Abstract
Reaching out…where are you? was based on material sketched in 1996, with the working title “Sadness”, with the full piece composed in 2016. It is introspective, with rich harmonies and three against two patterns supporting the melody above.This music score was submitted for Resonate 2024: An Open Access Call for Scores by the UCLA Music Library.Recorded on Expressions: Piano Music by Kirsten Johnson (CRC 4095).
