Abstract

We investigate in perturbative QCD the magnetude and shape of the large x T (≳0.5) 3-transverse jet thrust spectrum from pp collisions. We show that in this valence subprocess dominated region the shape of the spectrum is determined unambiguously by QCD. At Isabelle energies and the lowest acceptable x T the magnitude of the cross section should allow observation of such 3-jet events but with rather low statistics.
