Abstract
The paper presents the construction of the Paulista Centre Intermunicipal Partnership Brasil-Itália, formed by the municipality of Araraquara, Ibaté, Gavião Peixoto, Ribeirão Bonito and São Carlos. It discusses the possibility of local public policies implementation in the region, the dificulties in using preconceived models, and the potencial and limit of regional development public policy.
