Abstract
A University Teaching Associate is required to contribute to the delivery of undergraduate physics module content. Your duties include; delivering lectures (based on fully developed physics course material), maintaining course content on MOLE (customised version of Blackboard), developing experimental or computational (Python) projects, the setting and marking of course work and examination papers whilst providing support for students via physics tutorials, liaise with cross-departmental administration, and self-generate work through innovation in teaching. Teaching duties are allocated by the Head of Department, while you would report to the Departmental Director of Teaching. Enquiries should be directed to the Departmental Director of Learning and Teaching, Prof Paul Crowther. The successful candidate will have a good honors degree in physics (or equivalent experience), relevant teaching experience, and ideally a teaching qualification.
