Abstract

AbstractThe PVT properties and phase equilibria of a binary system of n-hexane and ionic liquid (1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide) (IL) (0.05 and 0.1 mass fractions) were studied using a constant-volume piezometer at temperatures in the range 300–575 K and pressures of up to 16 MPa. The phase equilibrium lines and critical parameters of this system were obtained.
