Some 350 of the most important environmentally relevant terms of the product groups automotive fuels, fuels (heating oils) and lubricants are briefly explained. Waste regulations, environmental acts and regulations, transport regulations, supervisory measures, water management acts of the federal and laender governments etc. for the sector of the petroleum industry and companies making use of petroleum products are discussed and explained. Furthermore, the brochure indicates where to order law texts, gives addresses of associations, federal and laender institutions and the companies charged with toxic waste disposal on behalf of the laender, and contains a list of abbreviations.
