Ovarian vein thrombosis is a common incidental finding in patients who have undergone total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy with retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. No treatment is necessary in cases uncomplicated by thrombophlebitis or pulmonary embolism.
