Abstract

Conventional catheter mapping techniques continue to form the basis of mapping for all arrhythmias. Constantly evolving “advanced” mapping systems can facilitate arrhythmia mapping by allowing reconstruction of three-dimensional models of cardiac chambers, combining electrical and anatomical information at multiple sites, creating voltage and activation maps and reducing the need for fluoroscopy.
