Abstract
The thesis is aimed at evaluation of indicated pressure in internal combustion engines. The circumstances that impact the measurement results as well as the results of further data processing are assessed. Apart from common quality of piezoelectric pressure sensors, special attention is aimed at thermo-shock drift that is significant in case of water non-cooled pressure transducers and impacts calculated thermodynamic parameters of working cycles. Correction calculation of thermo-shock drift without necessity of a reference measurement by a low-drift pressure sensor was built - it is sufficient to measure both inlet and exhaust manifold pressure. This kind of correction was verified by a number of measurements with a positive result. Major attention is also given to a correction of pressure that is acquired by measurement via a connecting channel (e.g. cooling adapter for measurement of exhaust manifold pressure). A layout of calculation based on unsteady fluid flow with which very good results could be achieved even with complicated channels with low number of calculation inputs was made. The correction method was experimentally verified on several types of non-cooled connecting channels. In this work sufficient attention is paid to the effects which cannot be corrected so their influence on measurement results or on further measurement processing is clear. / Available from STL Prague, CZ / NTK - National Technical Library / SIGLE / CZ / Czech Republic
