Abstract

In this paper, we show that if I is a matroidal ideal, then the ideal generated by the i-th multigraded shifts is also a matroidal ideal for every i=0,…,proj dim(I)\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$i=0,\ldots ,{\text {proj dim}}(I)$$\end{document}.
