Abstract

AbstractMuch research devoted to the surface and bulk modification of cellulose and cellulose-containing components with the intention of giving them new properties has been published in the literature. In this review, various methods and processing conditions are considered, and the effectiveness of modifying cellulose for further use as a filler in polymer composite materials is analyzed on the basis of publications from the last decade.
