Abstract

The taxonomic composition and annual dynamics of abundance of pelagic larvae of bottom invertebrates in Avachinskii Inlet (southeastern Kamchatka) were studied. Larvae of 52 taxa were identified. Larvae were found in the plankton all year round. The highest concentration of meroplankton was recorded in the spring and fall. During the year, meroplankton made up 0.6–45.3% of the total zooplankton.
