Abstract

The maternal influence on rabbits’ growth and development at various ontogenetic phases is studied. The practical use of the undertaken research is discussed. Data on how the mother influences the microbiocenosis development of her youngs’ intestinal tract are considered. The role of coprophagy in the symbiotic digestion of young rabbits and the ontogenetic aspects of symbiotic digestion in their caecum are analyzed. Information about some probiotics and their impact upon young rabbits’ growth and their disease and helminthic resistance is given.
