Abstract

•Hearing preservation in the implanted ear provides significant benefit for localization.•Implant users with hearing preservation have access to interaural time differences (ITDs).•ITD thresholds are significantly correlated with localization.•ITD thresholds are significantly correlated with symmetry in low-frequency hearing.
