Abstract

The numerical calculations showed that in spite of nonintegrability there are cases of interaction of three and more vortex rings when the motion of the system is quasiregular. The most stable configurations turned out to be three vortex rings. Systems which consists of a greater number of rings are most sensitive to chaotic interaction. Depending on initial conditions the system of rings can disintegrate in the process of motion into several subsystems, moreover situations are possible when one subsystem moves regularly, and the other one chaotically. The general classification of motion, where the regions of order and chaos are presented, are shown.
