Abstract

AbstractThe current hydrochemistry of aquatic formations of the Moscow Canal and the Volga–Baltic System was characterized by the data of field surveys during the summer of 2018. The spatial variations in the ionic composition of the water and in the concentrations of dissolved forms of trace elements were analyzed over the distance from Moscow to Petrozavodsk. The dynamics of elemental composition were characterized via comparison to the published data. The long-term stability of the ionic composition of water was shown.
