Abstract

Original held by the Imperial War Museum: IWM 4700-01, A23173. Board of Admiralty dinner to Empire Prime Ministers, 8 May 1944, in the Painted Hall of the Royal Naval College, Greenwich. The dinner was in honour of the Prime Ministers of Australia, Canada, South Africa and New Zealand, and was chaired by the First Lord of the Admiralty Mr A. V. Alexander. On the way to dinner, left to right: Mr Peter Fraser, Field Marshall J. C. Smuts, Mr J. Curtin, and Mr A. V. Alexander. IWM images may not be copied without the permission of the IWM.
