Abstract

• The research develops a conceptual framework using a design thinking process. • Extended producer responsibility in offshore prefabrication is allocated through the framework. • The framework comprises four quadrants representing four scenarios for EPR implementation. • The research considers the scope and scale of the responsibility and the procurement methods.
