Abstract

Summary The phosphorylation status of Sfi1, a structural component of the yeast centrosome, governs the centrosome duplication cycle, raising the possibility that licensing of centrosome duplication occurs by modulating Sfi1, which potentially acts as a template for a new centrosome.
