Abstract

Abstract 2-(2-Hydroxyphenyl)-5-phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole 1 and 2,5-bis(2-hydroxyphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole 2 were used as anion fluorescent and colorimetric chemosensors with high selectivity for H 2PO 4 − and F − over Cl −, while 2 can even distinguish H 2PO 4 − from F −.
