Impurities in conjugated globulins for immunofluorescence techniques

Abstract

Conjugated albumin and free uncombined fluorochrome are two constituents of preparations of immunoglobulins conjugated to fluorochromes which produce non-specific staining. The maximum permissible levels of these two components have been determined using as substrate coverslip preparations of monkey kidney cells.
