Abstract

Abstract Hungary and the United States of America signed an Agreement on the Protection of Intellectual Property in 1993. The Agreement covers both industrial property and copyright/author's right. In the field of industrial property the Agreement regulates problems concerning patents, trademarks, industrial designs, layout designs of semiconductor chips and mentions honest commercial practice and trade secrets as well. So far as copyright is concerned the most important items are the different aspects of the protection of computer software and the question of communicating a work to the public.
