Abstract

Abstract The diagnostic use of ultrasound has gained much ground in gynaecology and obstetrics through its provision of useful information. A Doppler ultrasound probe has been used to monitor the foetal heart during childbirth in an attempt to simplify foetal cardiotachometry.
