Record level- Consists of 30 images taken at Point of Pines on the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation in 1953. Landscape scenes from the region show hills, boulders, ponderosa pine trees, rock formations, and a stream. Also portrayed is the camp there, used by University of Arizona students doing archaeological field studies. Photographs show the cabins, the water tower, and several vehicles. Also depicted are some of the ruins, where students with shovels are engaged in excavation work.
