The System of Material Incentives for Collective Farmers

  • Agricultural Science
  • Political Science

Material incentive is a primary prerequisite for the successful development of the socialist national economy. For a long time during the period of the personality cult, the Leninist principle of material interest was grossly violated, and this was undoubtedly detrimental to our country's economy. The ignoring of this principle has had an especially harmful effect on the development of agriculture. For this reason, since 1953 the Communist Party has been giving continuous attention to the restoration and all-round improvement of the principle of the material interest of the collective-farm and state-farm workers in the development of social production.
