Abstract

Although physical training does not affect CO2 chemosensitivity at rest, different kinds of physical training affect hypoxic ventilatory chemosensitivity at rest in different ways. On the other hand, a number of studies indicated that the mechanism of exercise hyperpnea is related to hypoxic chemosensitivity.
