Abstract

The brittle failure of solids under the effect of pulsed electron beam is (PEB) of high-density was detected for the first time in semiconductor materials and subsequently also in ion crystals, glass and rock. The aim of this work was to examine the morphology of fracture of crystal dielectrics during the variation of the parameters of the pulsed electron beams, the conditions and the geometry of radiation, and also the evaluation of the efficiency of different mechanisms of formation of fracturing stresses / Translated from Russian (Fiz.
