This paper shows the role of the hypophysis gland on the bile elimination of essential tauroconjugated acids and cholesterol. After transauricular hypophysectomies were performed on rats which were kept under total fistula treatment, we employed an original technique of bile recuperation in rats without contention and observed, over a period of 10 or more days, the choleresis and the composition of eliminated bile.
