Abstract

Abstract This paper explores the use of fiberoptics in indirect laryngoscopy and encourages the speech pathologist to use this procedure in a diagnostic and therapeutic context. Routine use of this procedure by speech pathologists would broaden the role definition of the voice clinician as a skilled evaluator of vocal-fold pathologies.
