Abstract

Abstract Vortex patterns in two-dimensional nanoscopic superconducting network systems are discussed based on the Ginzburg–Landau theory. In nanoscopic systems, the vortex patterns are strongly affected by the sample geometry, especially the shape of the boundary, and both the isolated vortices and the vortex stripes are possible near the transition temperature. We especially concentrate on how vortex patterns are developed as the temperature is decreased below transition temperature and discuss the basic character of the vortex patterns.
