Abstract
This report is part of the study 'Life-Cycle Balances of Packaging Systems' which was prepared by the project-team 'Life-Cycle-Balances' comprised of ILV, ifeu and GVM. The ifeu-Institute was responsible for data collection in the following areas which are documented in this report: wood production, energy supply, transportation, recovery of waste materials, waste incineration, landfilling and waste water treatment. In the data collection for processes was geared for the use as auxiliary modules in special life-cycle balances. These modules reflect the conditions in the early 1990s in West Germany.
