Abstract

Abstract The multi-dimensional bosonic Fibonacci oscillator algebra is considered. Starting with a two-parameter deformed Bose–Einstein distribution function, the high-temperature thermostatistical properties of a gas of the commuting Fibonacci oscillators such as the equation of state are obtained in terms of some functions of the real independent deformation parameters q 1 and q 2 . The effects of two deformation parameters on the properties of the system are also discussed. However, the undeformed boson gas results can be recovered in the limit q 1 = q 2 = 1 .
