Abstract

Abstract A preliminary report of mandible reconstruction utilizing a well tolerated material is presented. Reasonable reconstruction has not delayed detection of recurrences. During a prolonged period of observation the patients have experienced greater function, less cosmetic deformity, and fewer psychologic problems. These factors have helped them to return to social life and restored their economic worth.
