Abstract

Graphical abstract Phenyl migration and oxidative addition was observed in nitromethane containing solutions of trans-[RhCl(CO)(SbPh 3) n ] ( n = 2 or 3) and free SbPh 3. A Rh(III) product resulting from phenyl migration and oxidative addition to Rh(I), [Rh(Cl) 2(Ph)(SbPh 3) 3], was characterised by X-ray crystallography.
