The purpose of this study were to investigate the effects of the program for improving protective factors on a resilience of at-risk adolescents. The subjects were 280 students at attending a technical women high school, and 259 students among the subjects were divided to 4 groups(resilience 70, vulnerable 67, adjustment 60, maladjustment 62). The vulnerable group and maladjustment group were labeled to at-risk group, 20 students in each group had been assigned to an experimental group, and 20 students in another groups assigned to control group. The scales used for pre-post test are "the coping stratugy scale" developed by Folkman & Lazarus(1985), "B.D.I" by Beck(1967), and "ARQ" by Gullone et al.(2000), and these were revised or reconstructed by researcher. The program for improving the protective factors during 8-weeks. Data were analyzed by using paired t-test, ANOVA, ANCOVA, and Scheffe's test. The finding of this study were that the program for improving protective factors identified to effective on resilience of vulnerable adolescents. But, the effect of program not identified about maladjustment group. The finding of study was discussed about value of the discriminative treatment on vulnerable and a maladjustment group.
