Abstract

Abstract The rates of cleavage of the aryltin bond of p-Me 3MCH 2C 6H 4SnMe 3 compounds by aqueous methanolic perchloric acid increases in the order (M ) Si < Ge < Sn, which means that electron release by the Me 3M groups also increases in this order.
